Verna Casey is a board-certified family nurse practitioner practicing at the Family Diagnostic Clinic since 2021. Before her nurse practitioner career, she served in the United States Navy and retired after 20 years of service in 2022. While in the service, she pursued her nursing career. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2014 and worked in the Emergency Department and Interventional Radiology. She later pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2019.

Casey understands that caring for patients goes beyond providing physical care. She believes in respecting every patient and encouraging their involvement in their care. She focuses on patient-centered care, emphasizing health education, prevention, and management.
